The Pistol Craft Course Series is a progressive handgun training pathway designed to build safe, capable, and confident armed citizens through structured education, practical application, and a warrior-minded approach to personal responsibility. Each course builds upon the previous level to ensure students develop a solid foundation before advancing. Pistol Craft 101: Intro to Handgun (CCW/CHL) is mandatory before any live-fire courses. Duration is 4 hours, classroom only. This course is the foundational course for new handgun owners and those seeking a structured understanding of safe and responsible firearm use. This course establishes the core principles that all higher-level training is built upon. This course satisfies the training requirements for obtaining an Oregon concealed handgun license. Pistol Craft 201: Handgun Fundamentals duration is 4 hours of live-fire at the range. This course transitions students from theory to application, placing students on the range to apply skills learned in PC 101. Student outcomes include confidence in personal ability to load, unload, and operate a handgun safely and accurately; safely manipulate a handgun in a live-fire environment; demonstrate proper shooting fundamentals; fire accurate, controlled shots at practical distances; and apply classroom principles under live-fire conditions.
